Triumph sent over this tasty bit today. Since it is straight from the factory, the paint is spot on. I always like to have an optional tail cowl, for those days I just don’t feel like taking on a passenger (Sorry babe!). In my opinion, it really cleans up the look of the tail section. Here is a photo of it before installation:

Installation was a snap. All it took was one bolt (included) on each side and viola! you are done! Here it is, installed and looking sexy!

One thing I do have to say is that since I had upgraded to the Triumph Gel Seat, it took a bit more pushing and squeezing to install the tail cowl, than if it had been the stock seat. As you will notice in this picture, from the side, it has a bigger space between the tail section and the tail cowl.

It still looks great though. I mean, you usually look at the bike from up to down anyways. And being as tall as we are, we won’t even notice the gap unless you are swatting.

See what I mean? The next picture is taken while I am kneeing behind the bike. The one on top was taken while I was standing.

I give it a thumbs up! See you guys in a few!
