New 2010 MV Agusta F4 1000written by -- November 5th, 2009Filed under: News & Opinions | |
Hey guys, it’s Jon here again. MV Agusta has released another teaser picture of its new F4 1000 superbike a week ahead of its full unveiling in Milan.

According to MV Agusta, the F4 1000 reverts to 998cc capacity, meaning it is now directly competing with the Honda Fireblade, Yamaha R1, Suzuki GSX-R1000 and the Kawasaki ZX-10R. It will also be legal in the superbike/superstock race classes.
MV claims 186bhp at 12,900rpm for the new machine, and says the engine is fitted with TC MK II traction control like the new Brutale.
A slipper clutch, twin injectors per cylinder and variable length inlet tracts all feature on the revised machine.
The above picture gives away little of the restyle - but the distinctive pipe organ style exhausts have become angular, and the rest of the visible bodywork clearly has much more sharp edges and angles than the outgoing F4.
Stay tuned for full pictures and more details to come on Monday, November 9th.
