As you can see in the photo, I had a bit of a boo-boo, and scuffed the clutch side one up.

It was the most stupid mistake too. I was making a slow u-turn within a residential street, and the bike started to tip leftward. The bike wasn’t even on! I was just pushing it!

The slow motion drop was inevitable and highly embarrassing. Usually, I would develop superhuman strength in these times of need, but not this time.

I could not resist! A brand new 2004 Honda Cbr1000rr with minor crate damage, for $7,000.00!!! Damn, I’m a good negotiator! My back is chapped from me patting myself in the back! LOL!

Apparently, while unloading the bike, some unfortunate employee at the dealership dropped the bike on the left side.

Since it was only minor cosmetic damage on the fairings, it was a no brainer.

However, after I had signed all the paperwork, one of the finance people pulled me aside and told me the real story.

A customer had purchased the bike and on his way home, revved too hard and dropped it outside the dealership. He figured it was too much bike for him and sold it back to the dealership. The dealership basically just tore  up with papers and had him pay cash for his damages. That is how they managed to tell me that I was the first owner.

Shady? Kinda, but who cares when I’m getting it for 7k?
