Through their website, Two Brothers Racing now offers their customers the chance to design and personalize their own exhaust system. Customization options include choosing the muffler canister type as well as the color and material combinations on all of the individual components, even the bolts! Customers can choose between several logo badge styles and even add their name, racing number or their own special text.

With their online tool, Two Brothers Racing has opened a custom design shop that users can access anytime, anywhere with quick turnaround and easy purchasing options. Buyers can purchase their custom exhaust directly from their dealer or online.

Customers simply select the make and model of their machine, pick the material for the canister (Aluminum, Titanium or Carbon Fiber) based on performance needs and style preferences and then click through different component color combinations until they come up with their own perfect look. Add in a personalized logo badge with their name and number-or pick from other badge designs.

The one I made is up top for my Yamaha R1. It still looks like a Two Brothers Racing’s exhaust so I think I’ll pass. A better feature would be making the entire exhaust customizable, not just the colors. I hate Two Brother’s carbon weave. Looks cheap. They should offer matte black. I am also not a fan of the tip. I say offer different tip designs. Then we’ll be talking! I also think it makes it difficult for their dealers to sell any. Why compete with your own dealers?

Alright guys, the first review ordered for 2009! The guys at American Car Quotes couldn’t wait to share their site with all you Inline Performance Magazine readers! So without further adieu, let’s get to it!

The nice thing I noticed about this site is the simplicity. All you have to do is fill out your information once, and let the site match you to appropriate auto insurance companies. Currently, when I shop for insurance online, I have to go to each individual insurance company’s site and fill out my information on each one! Not with American Car Quotes. You fill out your information once, and let the insurance companies come to you. Talk about efficiency!

The site not only lists the best insurance companies for you, it also provides a wealth of information about different types of insurance. For example, there is one page called Fault that discusses how fault is assigned in different states. It explains the difference between traditional tort liability and the no-fault policy.

There is another page, http://www.americancarquotes.com/page7.php, that I also found to be helpful to many of our readers. It explains why auto insurance is typically higher for students, and how to save some money on your premium.

There are more money saving tips and other informative pages, but you’ll have to check out the American Car Quotes site to see them for yourselves. Till next time guys!

The New York City Council is about to give final approval to a bill that the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) says discriminates against motorcyclists and imposes severe, out-of-line penalties.

The AMA also complained that the measure discussed in the Council for two years and then, in a surprise move, was revived just a week before the scheduled final vote, allowing little opportunity for public comment.

“This is outrageous. This is no way to operate in a democracy,” said Imre Szauter, AMA government affairs manager. “The Committee on Public Safety considered the bill on Dec. 14, 2006, and then suddenly approves it and sends it to the full Council on Dec. 10, 2008?” Talk about a sneak attack!

The measure, would make it illegal for any motorcycle to be on city streets unless it has an exhaust system with a stamp that states it is approved by the federal Environmental Protection Agency. Essentially that means the bike must have a stock exhaust system.

Motorcyclists caught without an EPA-stamped exhaust system would face fines of up to $1,000 for a first offense and temporary forfeiture of the motorcycle until the fine is paid. A second offense would result in a fine of up to $2,500 and permanent forfeiture of the motorcycle.

City officials apparently believe that requiring motorcyclists to have EPA-approved exhaust systems is easier to enforce than trying to prove a motorcycle exceeds the city’s vaguely defined 80-decibel sound limit.

Szauter stressed that the AMA has long opposed excessive motorcycle sound and has funded information and public relations campaigns in support of quiet motorcycle use.

“The issue is that the New York City Council is unfairly singling out motorcyclists because motorcycles are the only vehicles covered under the bill,” he said. “If New York City officials believe they have a sound problem, then the problem should be handled through the existing noise ordinance and not through piecemeal legislation targeting specific modes of transportation.”

Szauter added that requiring motorcycles–and no other motor vehicles–to have a stock exhaust system is particularly discriminatory. When the muffler wears out or breaks on a car, the car owner can go to a local muffler shop and get an aftermarket system that costs much less than an original equipment system. The proposed New York City law wouldn’t allow a motorcyclist to do that, forcing the motorcyclist to potentially spend hundreds of dollars more for an original equipment system, assuming that system is even still available.

“If a motorcyclist can’t find a stock system, then the rider faces stiff fines and forfeiture of the machine, Szauter said. “These penalties are too severe and out of line when compared with other city laws.”

We are happy to report that for now the bill was pulled from the schedule for December 18th, when it was to be voted upon by the full council. We would like to thank Speaker Christine Quinn for realizing that this issue requires much more than one week worth of consideration.

So I was browsing the internet the other day and came across this Yamaha dealer’s site in the UK. Being a fan of bespoke everything, I was intrigued by their custom Yamaha bikes. It seems they have been offering these for a few years now. Recently, they revealed a special FZ-1 one-off Abarth FZ-1. Tamworth Yamaha created this particular Fiat Yamaha-liveried FZ-1 for their shop director, and boasts all of the top-notch parts you might expect.

The chassis is the standout feature of the Tamworth Yamaha’s FZ-1 machine. Ohlins Road and Track forks are slotted into the standard yokes, and carry the standard front wheel, Brembo radially-mounted monobloc calipers, and narrow track discs.

The calipers are connected to a radial-pump Brembo master cylinder by a set of steel braided hoses made to suit the set-up, and the brake system is finished with a black anodized Rizoma fluid reservoir.

The engine has also received tuning courtesy of YEC kit parts and an Akrapovic exhaust system (although it’s stickered as a Termignoni). The paintwork is an adaptation of the Fiat-sponsored 2008 Valentino Rossi YZR-M1, tweaked to suit the fairing-less FZ-1.

A genuine Yamaha passenger seat cover and a set of custom aluminum side panels are the only other bodywork changes, finished neatly with a reupholstered seat.

Too bad the bike isn’t for sale, but I’m sure Tamworth Yamaha is open to creating more specials!

Welcome to the new year guys! As we are still in the winter months, I’d like to continue with my post regarding proper hibernation of your bike. I’m going to jump to my Husky section for this article, because that’s what I’m riding nowadays. So, without further adieu!

Exhausts
Collector boxes on standard exhaust systems are usually made from the world’s most corrosive metal. They’re also difficult to repair and expensive to replace. After cleaning the bike (see cleaning), make sure the top of the collector box (usually directly under the engine) is completely dry and coat it with WD-40. This is worth removing the fairing for. Trust me.

Forks
After cleaning the bike, make sure that there is no moisture sitting around the fork stanchions, especially behind the mudguard where it can’t usually be seen. Water can corrode the chrome, causing pitting that can potentially rupture the fork seals.

Brake Rotors
Ever left a wet bike out for so long that the brakes needed a good knock to unstick them? If left for long enough, the pad material can eat into the disc and bond to it. Not good. Put a piece of paper or cardboard between the rotors and pads to prevent this.

Tires
Ideally both wheels would be kept off the ground by paddock stands to avoid the tires from deforming from long periods of inactivity. But if that’s not possible, place blocks of wood under the tires to prevent contact with a cold garage floor. Too much exposure to the freezing temperatures (absorbed by the concrete) can affect the performance of the rubber. If the bike’s not up on a paddock stand, try to rotate the wheels a quarter turn every three weeks and keep pressures up.

Consider a Winter Hack
No doubt the two-wheeled missile that resides in the garage was the end result of a thoroughly thought out and level-headed purchase. Despite its awesome array of performance abilities, trouging through mud covered roads in sub-zero temperatures was not part of your dreams when you signed up.

Therefore, winter is a great excuse for purchasing a beater motorcycle in slightly less than mint condition, which is usually only fit for riding in a straight line. You can use it as a winter bike without worrying about something happening to it.

Well that’s it for me! Happy winter, and ride safe!

Talk about a dream bout! Troy Bayliss has named his price for coming out of retirement to face Valentino Rossi in a proposed race between the two champions. Unfortunately, the retired World Superbike champion said it would take about 1 million British pounds ($1.5 million USD) to convince him to face MotoGP champion Rossi, although Bayliss says it’s not likely to happen.

“For me right now, I’ve stopped training and I’m happy with my plan to finish. I’m feeling happy that the last time I rode, I was world champion, plus I won both races and beat all the other guys out there,” Bayliss says. “For me to do it (race Rossi), I’d need something like £1m and that’s not going to happen.”

Bayliss did confirm that Rossi brought up the idea of a race between them, as reported by Spanish magazine Solo Moto. The weekly publication was the first to report about a proposed race between Bayliss on his Ducati 1098 F08 and Rossi on a Superbike spec Yamaha YZF-R1.

“I spoke with Valentino and he told me that he wants to race me really badly!” Bayliss exclaimed. “It wouldn’t be so hard for him to be competitive on a Superbike, Yamaha has got a strong bike so it would (be) no problem at all for him to get up to speed. Valentino Rossi is Valentino Rossi.”

Wow, I’m sure this event would be sold out (even in this economy). I guess we will just have to wait and see who will shell out the millions this event needs to happen. I’m sure Rossi would require a pretty penny too, to race! Happy New Years Eve guys! See you in ‘09!

Ducati is recalling 2007-2008 models of the 1098, and the 2008-2009 versions of the 848 sportbikes due to a problem with the charging system. Engine heat may cause damage to the voltage regulator of the affected bikes, leading to battery discharge.

The recall affects 7,130 bikes including the 1098S, 1098R and 1098 Tricolore. Dealers will replace the voltage regulator and install a heat guard between it and the engine exhaust system. Dealers will also install a modified battery support. Motorcycles produced after May 2008 already feature these revisions.

Kawasaki is recalling 2008 Concours 14 motorcycles due to a problem with the rear brakes. Road debris may get trapped between the rear brake pedal and the rear master cylinder actuating arm, preventing the pedal from fully releasing. This could cause the rear brake to overheat and may lead to rear brake lock-up or failure.

Kawasaki has yet to provide a remedy for this problem, but will reimburse customers who experience this problem if the failure was not already covered by warranty. Kawasaki says 4,628 motorcycles are affected by this problem. Kawasaki doesn’t have a solution to the Concours 14’s brake pedal problem yet, so owners should be on the lookout for any debris on the road while riding.

Harley-Davidson is recalling 2009 Dyna motorcycles, including the Super Glide, Super Glide Custom, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Low Rider. The affected motorcycles, produced July 24 through August 28, may have faulty welds on the jiffy stand’s spring anchor. The defect may prevent the stands from properly retracting. Harley-Davidson says 3,285 motorcycles may be affected by this problem.

The 2009 Harley-Davidson FXDB Dyna Street Bob is the subject of two recall notices issued in December.

Harley-Davidson also issued a second recall notice for 2009 Super Glide Custom, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Low Rider motorcycles because of a fault with the fuel tank vent tube assembly. An ultrasonic weld on the anti-slosh valve of the assembly may be defective. A fuel leak may occur if the valve separates and the affected motorcycle is tipped over. Harley-Davidson says 349 motorcycles, built July 22-25, are included in the recall notice.

Dealers will replace the jiffy stand spring anchors on the 3,285 motorcycles affected by the jiffy stand defect. Dealers will also inspect the fuel vent tube assembly on bikes included in the second recall notice.

Triumph is recalling 2008-2009 Thruxton motorcycles due to a problem with the front brake. Bolts installed on the front brake caliper bracket may be too short. When undoing the bolts for service, the mating threads on the caliper mounting may become damaged, potentially causing the brake caliper to come loose. Riders may notice a “clunk” noise when applying the front brake if they have this problem.

Triumph will replace the bolts on the 87 Thruxtons covered by the recall notice.

Triumph also issued a recall notice on 2008 Rocket III Touring motorcycles due to a problem with the saddlebag assembly. The affected bikes may be missing a weld on the back of the pannier rail supporting the bags. After time, the pannier rail may weaken and fracture, causing the saddlebags to fall off. The recall notice affects eight motorcycles.

Dealers will replace the pannier rail on the affected motorcycles.

Yikes!

Hey guys! Planning on hibernating your bike this winter? I know I am tucking my R1 away! Storing a bike properly takes a lot of preparation. Read on for my top tips on how to do it right.

Storage
Ideally, the bike should be kept indoors when it is not in use. Using a bike cover can provide additional help to prevent accidental damage, make it harder for small creatures to nest, and also stops people from seeing your bike. For complete cryogenic status, companies offer bike chambers for a few hundred dollars that have filter systems to keep away moisture and dust. But that’s a bit overboard in my opinion.

Cleaning
After the last ride before storage, give the bike a really thorough cleaning, paying special attention to metal parts and linkages. Actually, you should do this after every ride anyways. Not many garages are moisture free, so manually dry the bike and coat metal parts (but not the brakes) with an anti-corrosion formula (like WD-40). Remember to grease any parts (linkages, cables, etc.) that might have been stripped of their lubricants.

Battery
The battery of an unused bike left in a cold garage will start to drain flat (yeah, Alex learned that the hard way). To avoid that, use a Battery Tender to keep the power level topped up. There’s an argument that these reduce the working life of a battery, but they are still the best option for bikes, especially those fitted with alarms. Another option is to remove the battery altogether and store it in a cardboard box, somewhere dry and out of reach.

Brake Fluid
Brake fluid attracts water. Period. As most garages suffer from a little dampness, you’ll need to re-bleed the system with fresh fluid when it’s time to ride again. And you don’t want to take chances when it comes to your brakes! Some people strap the lever close to the bar to keep air bubbles out of the brake system, but ultimately, putting undue pressure on the seals may damage them over time.

Fuel
The octane level of fuel begins to reduce after about a month, which can affect engine performance or cause pre-ignition. Leaving fuel in an unused bike can leave an enamel-like residue on the fuel system and can clog injector nozzles or carburettor needles and jets. If you are planning on storing the bike for over 3 months, use something like Silkolene Pro FST in the fuel tank for the last ride. For longer periods, I would suggest you drain the fuel tank.

Engine
For bikes stored for any great length of time, blank off the air intakes. It’s surprisingly quite common for small, furry animals to treat an airbox as their new house. Also, it will keep out insects and dust.

Whoa, looks like I’ve rambled on for a while. I’m going to have to sign off and complete my tips next time! Happy Holidays everyone!

What’s up guys? Even though we are in the middle of our rainy season here, the staff at IPM braved the elements today and performed a shoot out for you guys. Luckily, the sun decided to join us today.

So, we pit the Ducati 848 against the Triumph Daytona 675. Being that it was freezing cold, we were only testing cornering, top speed, and torque. Sorry, the ground was partially wet so we decided against testing the brakes. Enjoy!

That’s it for now. We’ll have to wait until the Spring to give you a more comprehensive analysis between the two bikes. But, you all know I’d take the 675 over the 848 any day! Screw exotica! Stay tuned guys!

It is the first time for the KTM Austria Motorsport Division to offer exclusive Factory-SXS-Kits with high-end RACE components for ambitious owners of KTM four-stroke SX bikes.

Replacing the successful SXS model line up KTM collected all the experience and know-how of the very successful KTM Factory Team in order to offer exclusive Race kits at the highest possible tuning level. The goal is to give fast MX1 and MX2 riders the chance to tune their KTM SX bikes to the highest possible level of performance and reliability in order to make these bikes competitive against pure factory machines on international GP level as well as at national championships. MX2 and MX3 World title and many podium results in the 2008 GP season have proven the high technology level of KTM, which we can offer now also to you.

For the MX season 2009 there will be two engine kits available, one for the 250 SX-F and one for the 450 SX-F.

For order and additional info download the SXS Motorsport Kit 09 PDF here!

Here are a few specs:

Traction control with seven levels of intervention, previously only available on the $39,995 Ducati 1098R.
A 1099cc L-twin engine that produces 155 hp and 85 lb-ft of torque, each figure is 5 less than in the fully-faired 1098.
A lightweight 2-1-2 exhaust system with twin stainless steel mufflers.
A fully adjustable 43mm Showa fork and a fully adjustable, progressive Showa rear linkage with an aluminum, single-sided swingarm.
4-piston, 2 pad Brembo monobloc brakes up front and a 2-piston brake at the rear.
As with the faired 1098, the Streetfighter S version features Öhlins suspension and forged lightweight alloy wheels.

We’ll show you more photos and videos after this Saturday’s motorcycle show in San Mateo. The base model is priced at $14,995 and the S model at $18,995. The S model will be released first around May of 2009 and the base model will follow later in the summer of 2009.

What’s happening guys? I’m here today for another motorcycle related book review. Check out FLAT OUT, The Race for the Motorcycle World Land Speed Record.

It is available now at your favorite internet retailer or, ask for it by name at your local bookstore. Last minute shoppers, I’m looking at you! If you want an autographed copy, however, you’ll have to send Rocky an email through his website here.

This is Rocky Robinson’s first nonfiction book, and is intended to put you in the driver’s seat of one of, if not the fastest motorcycle ever built. Ever wonder what it’s like to go faster than anyone else has ever gone? Try 350 mph!

The intensity is real. From his early days of racing motorcycles on half-mile and mile ovals on 750cc V-twin motorcycles, to land speed racing and crossing the pond to the Land Down Under, where his best run resulted in a blown engine, coasting through the timing lights with the rods snapped, the motor bleeding oil into it’s enclosed bodywork—threatening to ignite into a blistering inferno. This pass was made in March of 2000, and is still the fastest recorded speed anyone has traveled on two wheels in Lake Gairdner, Australia.

The ups and downs of racing for big buck sponsors, whose money does funny things to those whose job it is to keep you safe and pointed in the right direction. This story digs deep into the sport’s past and tells of plans for the future. It tells of fallen heroes and of lost friendships all in the name of proving who’s fastest.

It’s about second chances—and not taking them lightly. In order to come out on top in this type of sport you’ve got to want it and be willing to sacrifice everything to achieve nothing more than a printout on a piece of paper. But that paper carries a lot of weight, because only one person can be the recipient. And at that very moment, he has no equal.

What’s up guys? Happy Holidays! Today I’m going to show you the summer jacket I’ll be rocking in six months from the folks at Fieldsheer. It’s the Mach 7 from their Polytitanium Mesh collection.

As the name suggests, the Mach 7 has an ultra-breathable Polytitanium Mesh outer shell, and is anatomically fitted for an aggressive riding position. It also has removable CE approved armor that is equipped in the shoulders, elbows and back (with a comfort pad).

It is packed with 600 Denier Carbolex and SP memory foam in high impact areas for addition protection. And, as with all motorcycle jackets these days, it has reflective phoslite for high visibility.

For added comfort, there is a velcro adjustable micro fiber collar with padding. To fit everyone, there is an unique 4-step adjustable upper and lower sleeve volume control to secure armor in place for small or large arms. There is also a velcro adjustable waist strap. It ends with a zipped wrist cuff enclosure.

And of course, to store my stuff, pockets include: 2 zipped front hand warmers, 1 inside velcro, and 1 Cellphone. For a set, there is an 8” zipper for connection to Fieldsheer pants plus a universal belt snap. A rain blocker water resistant zip out liner is available for months like these.

Hey guys, I’ve got some bad news or you fans of motorcycle exotica. Mv Agusta has announced that Massimo Tamburini, Italy’s modern day Michelangelo, will retire on December 31, 2008.

Tamburini was one of the co-founders of Bimota in 1973 (the ta in Bimota stands for Tamburini) before his now famous cooperation with Claudio Castiglioni in 1985. The most iconic bikes Tamburini are known to have designed were the Ducati 916-998 (which also resulted in the Cagiva Mito 125) and the Mv Agusta Brutales and F4’s.

Let me give you an excerpt from MV’s press release:

VARESE, ITALY, Dec. 3, 2008. MV Agusta today announced that Design Chief Massimo Tamburini will retire from the company, effective Dec. 31, 2008. Tamburini has been with Cagiva since early 1985 and has headed up MV Agusta’s engineering and design center, Centro Ricerche Cagiva, in San Marino for over 13 years, where he and the staff designed what are widely regarded as world-class, premium, high-performance sport motorcycles, including the legendary F4.

“I have dedicated a significant part of my career in motorcycle design to Cagiva and MV Agusta and am immensely proud of the beautiful and thrilling motorcycles we have created,” said Tamburini. “While my decision to retire was extremely difficult to make, I am confident the highly-talented designers and engineers in San Marino will continue the tradition of excellence that is the hallmark of MV Agusta. I have been privileged to realize so many dreams during my years with Cagiva and MV Agusta and look forward to seeing more great things yet to come from the company,” Tamburini said.

Tamburini plans to pursue design interests outside the motorcycle field and to spend more time on his other outside interests. “Massimo Tamburini is one of the legends of the motorcycle industry and leaves a great legacy at MV Agusta,” said Claudio Castiglioni, MV Agusta Chairman and Director of Motorcycle Research and Development. “The capabilities he built at MV Agusta’s design center are outstanding and his legacy and vision will now be carried forward by the team he assembled and mentored over many years. While we will miss his presence, we respect his decision to retire and wish him all the best for the future,” Castiglioni said.

MV Agusta is a wholly-owned subsidiary of U.S.-based Harley-Davidson, Inc. (NYSE:HOG). What?!? Is this a surprise to you? Check out the story here. MV Agusta produces premium, high-performance sport motorcycles sold under the MV Agusta® brand and lightweight sport motorcycles sold under the Cagiva® brand.

Bye Massimo! We will miss you!

Ah, here I am again with another item I wouldn’t mind finding under the Christmas tree this year. The 2009 Mv Agusta Brutale with a 1078cc powerplant. Whoo!

CHANGES TO THE FORKS
Due to the introduction of new brakes and the increased power output of the 1078 cc engine, the forks have been modified. The ends now have lugs to carry the calipers while internal calibration has been modified to handle the increased loads the suspension will have to deal with. Great care has been taken to ensure that none of the comfort that a bike like the Brutale 1078RR provides its rider is lost. One small change regards the travel that has been increased to 130 mm (5.11 in). The type of forks remains unchanged and the Brutale boasts a pair of upside down 50 mm Marzocchis to keep the front end glued to the road when the rider is using the machine with a certain degree of zest. The rear shock absorber remains unchanged and the suspension has been calibrated to handle the power output. The suspension system keeps the back end in line under the hard acceleration on exiting bends that the 154 CV engine encourages. Rebound, compression and spring pre-load can all be adjusted on the Sachs monoshock unit.

NEW BREMBO BRAKES
The Brutale 1078RR now features the most powerful and exclusive brakes available. The system features race-bred monoblock or one-piece radial calipers like those fitted to the F4. The aim of the new system is to increase stopping power and reduce braking distances but at the same time decrease the amount of pressure needed on the brake lever and thus tire the rider less. The Brutale 1078RR can brake later than the competition and is already set up for the track with its new monoblock radial calipers. With the Brembo system this Brutale is now Italian from head to toe. The highly original forged aluminum five-spoke star-shaped wheels are also Brembo and measure 3.50” x 17” at the front and 6.00” x 17” at the rear with 120/70 ZR 17 and 190/55 ZR 17 tires.

EQUIPMENT: 10% MORE POWER
Transition from the 910R to the 1078RR involved the introduction of some new components that have given the Brutale RR 15 more HP and 2 kilos more of torque. A breakdown of the changes includes:

    * Decals and color schemes
* Instrument panel graphics
* Revised suspension calibration
* 1078 cc engine
* Slipper clutch
* Resized catalysers
* Brembo monoblock (one-piece) brakes.

The main focus has been on finding the right balance between the new components. Whoo!

Hey guys! GooDy is in the house again. Today, I got Ohlins to send me a Scotts steering damper for my Gixxer1000 K7. Scotts is the best steering damper that you can find nowadays. Just check out the forums!

It is a rotary style damper that offers the most adjustability. It’s easy to tell why this is regarded as the cream of the crop. It is top mounted, so it will most likely survive numerous crashes. There are high and low speed adjustments, damping motion range adjustment, and all of the adjustments are infinite. Plus, you can adjust the sucker on the fly!

This particluar unit performs flawlessly. The best description I can give to say how well a damper works is simply that it gave me no hint that it was even there. And, there were no shakes or “shimmies” in the front whatsoever.

The Gsxr1000 K7 actually came with a stock adaptive damper but it wasn’t really good enough for me. Don’t get me wrong though, a lot of guys who I know race so hard with a stock damper on it, but for me, I like my steering to be real stiff.

There is a common misconception that the stock damper on the Gsxr is adaptive by speed like Honda’s electronic unit. No! It’s not. It’s actually adaptive by throttle. If you don’t believe me, just jump on and hump your Gsxr with the stock adaptive damper, (Gsxr600 ‘06 + up, Gsxr1000 ‘07 + up) turn on your key but don’t start it. Full throttle it and turn your steering around and let it go. You can really feel the damper working.

So I have been worried about crashing when I come into a corner at a high speed and have to kill the throttle. A tank slap could occur so easily. The Scotts damper saves me from this problem. Right now I can adjust it on the fly just by twisting the knob.

Aight you guys, Peace.

Since it’s been getting chilly here in the city, we had to put together shots from different times and weather conditions in this video. Enjoy!

While it hasn’t been dyno’d yet, the bike has definitely been given some extra umph. The weight savings itself should make it go just a bit faster. The stainless steel full dual undertail system was swapped for a side exit full system if you remember.

We have a scheduled dyno session coming up soon so stay tuned for the numbers!

What’s up people? I know it’s been a while since I updated you on the king of Japanese bikes. So, today I installed a new windscreen courtesy of the great folks at Zero Gravity.

As you guys all know, I previously had the Hotbodies Racing windscreen on the Gixxer, and was very unhappy with it. Check out the story here. Heck, it’s the bottom post under the Gsxr1000 section. You can find it.

So, definitely, I am very happy with the ease of installation, and fit of the product. Keep up the good work guys! And as for you, you piece of warped plastic from Hotbodies, rest in pieces sucker!
