Dainese Marge D-Dry Ladies Gloveswritten by -- September 1st, 2008Filed under: Essential Stuff,Gear | Comments (2) |
I know there are a lot of female riders out there. So let me tell you guys up front I don’t ride. I’m not trying to be a poser! But even though I’m a backseat rider, I do appreciate that there are women specific gloves out in the market specifically cut to suit our lovely hand shape. Personally, I wear the Dainese Marge D-Dry Ladies Gloves. Why? They fit the best at the store! And just in case you’re shopping around for new gloves at the moment, here’s my take on this essential piece of gear.

The Dainese Marge D-Dry Gloves are produced in fabric and Lorica. Translation? They’re pretty comfortable and allow plenty of dexterity when in use. This flexibility is also due to the fact that the back is made of elastic fabric. They’re also dry lined with Dainese’s waterproof and breathable lining so you don’t get the chills riding in the rain or super sweaty, slick hands in warmer weather. There’s a zip opening and a wrist strap system for security; the gloves can be worn over or tucked inside your jacket.
Personally, when I am riding as a passenger, the only parts of my body truly exposed to the oncoming wind and maybe rain, are may hands. So, it is a good thing that these gloves have Thinsulate Insulation for warmth.
Finally, the logo isn’t too overbearing; it’s pretty tasteful and has just the right amount of flair you expect from Dainese. As a newbie, I’d recommend it to a fellow female rider, but of course go check it out yourself to test the fit — unless you want to surprise your girlfriend with it! Then go ahead and get a pair!
Thanks for reading gals and guys, and stay tuned for more ![]()
