Hi guys, Paul here. Nothing special today, just installed a carbon fiber tank cover on our Ducati Hypermotard from SHIFT TECH. Check it out.

The holes didn’t really line up with out bigger capacity tank, but we just drilled out the tank cover a bit, and with some elbow grease, managed to put it in place.

Our Hypermotard is coming along just fine. It should be up and running in just a few short weeks. Can’t wait to see this back on the road.

What’s going on guys? Today we received our Marzocchi forks off a Hypermotard S. We found a used but good condition pair online. Check it out.

I’m glad we are finally getting around to putting out Hypermotard back on the street. Should be a good year for the bike.

Anyways, today we have a new upgrade for the staff Ducati Hypermotard. It is straight from the Ducati Performance catalog available through any dealership.

What you see above is the Ducati Performance comfort seat with a lowered seating position. But not to worry, the special shaping and the padding in different density foamed materials ensures a high comfort level. This seat lowers all 1100 models by 25mm and the 796 by 5mm.

The seat cover is also a lot stickier than the stock one. No more sliding back and forth during aggressive stops and acceleration. The red stitching separates the two materials following the lines of the tail fairing. Very nice.

Now, the rest of the vertically challenged staff can mount and dismount this bike with ease. The part number for you ordering online or over the phone is 96782608B. It retails for around $253.30 depending on where you guys buy it.
