Since there was no reasoning with Ken, I had no other choice but to lawyer-up and threaten legal action. We gave them two weeks to respond, and lo and behold, on the last day, Ray the owner calls the law office trying to talk settlement.

Long story short, Ray agreed to do everything they were supposed to do anyways. However, they still managed to cheat me out of one month’s worth of extra payment for the Cbr. Scumbags!

Then Ray had the audacity to call me up and ask why I gave them bad reviews on the Suzuki survey. Um, hello! Those things are supposed to be confidential! I’m sure he ended up not sending my review in. So their rating is fake! I will never shop there again!

What’s going on guys? I was so impressed with the Devil Exhaust from my Cbr that I decided to give them another try. This time, I still stuck with the Magnum series, and carbon fiber can, but got a highmount:

I forgot to mention that I traded in my Cbr at Golden Gate Cycles of San Francisco. Yes, I got ripped off there before when I purchased my first bike (over $15,000.00 for 600cc?!?), but I thought I would give them another shot due to their damn good location here in the city. So today I received a statement from both financing companies for my Cbr and Gsxr. Apparently, the Finance Manager at Golden Gate Cycles made a mistake when writing down the payoff amount on the Cbr, and didn’t pay it off!

So, long story short, I still owe the full amount on my Cbr, the entire amount of the new Gsxr, and lost the down payment amount on the Gsxr.

What was more appalling is that when I went to the dealership to sort things out, Ken Horn, the Finance Manager, ushered me into his office, and shut the door. He blatantly attempted to threaten and intimidate me into keeping my mouth shut by stating their was nothing I could do, but take it as a loss! So, let me get this straight, you took my Cbr that I still owed a good $5,000.00 on, sold me a $10,000.00 new bike, and made me put $2,000.00 down on the new bike? So I’m paying $17,000.00 for a Gsxr1000????

What’s going on guys? I first saw it at the show and wasn’t impressed last year but with all the positive reviews, and owning a Suzuki as a first sportbike, I couldn’t resist. I traded the Cbr in today for the brand new 2005 Suzuki Gsxr1000.

The first ride was a blast! Not as “safe” feeling as the Honda, but definitely packs a great punch! Suzuki’s have by far the most torque of the inline fours.

        Here are some photos:

First mod is a leather tank bag from Bagster, custom made in Italy:

Next mod is a titanium hanger from Sato Racing:
