Pocket Bike Turned into Computer Case

What’s up people? This is for all you computer geeks out there. Well, those of you who like to modify your towers, anyways. But before we go on, we must make clear that this post was brought to you by the good folks over at Swiss Franc.

They want us to let you guys know that there are many benefits of investing in gold through the Gold Swiss franc. Check out their site. There are lots of info online why it is a great investment to Buy Gold. In fact, it has been the best form of security for the last 6,000 years. So, at least check out gold prices and go from there.

On to the news. We’ve all seen plenty of case mods in our time, some of them pretty darn cool even. Here is one particularly unique one I came across the other day. As you can see from the image below, that looks exactly like a motorcycle, but it’s really an amazing computer case.

Yes, I know, it isn’t a real motorcycle, but one of those pocket bikes, that I personally despise. But anyways, while it used to be able to go 70 mph, now it’s able to reach lightening high speeds.

Tucked away inside this glowing piece of tech is an Intel Core i7 920 CPU planted on an ASUS PST motherboard. Other hardware includes an EVGA 9800 GTX+ graphics card, 3GB of DDR3-1333 RAM, and 1TB of storage.

So now it will let you race around the Internet to all those illegal sites you like to peruse, like it used to, just as illegally on the streets.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Arnold Schwarzegger’s ‘Terminator’ Motorcycle

Irene

Hi guys. We always keep a look out for motorcycles in the media, and here in California, it doesn’t get any bigger than the Govenator!

When California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger toured the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum a few days ago, he couldn’t help himself. He had to show off the 1991 Indian motorcycle that he rode in one of the Terminator movies.

While he was here, he toured the special exhibit at the museum of famous motorcycles, which range from a 1903 Harley-Davidson to a 2008 MV Agusta. But it also includes a collection of movie motorcycles. They include bikes ridden in films like, the Wild Wild West; Batman and Robin; Star Trek and the World’s Fastest Indian.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Buell 1190RR Road Bike Return?

written by Jon -- July 29th, 2010

Jon

Hey guys, Jon here. Today’s post is brought to you by the folks over at Race Book. Check them out if you are into horse betting.

Anyyways, looks like Buell might soon be back in the roadbike business if the video showing a semi-road-legal 1190RR is to be believed. Check it out.

What you saw was an Erik Buell 11900RR race bike fitted with indicators and a cooling fan, neither as you know, are required items on the racetrack. “What gives?” indeed.

Legally, Erik Buell should soon be free of the contractual shackles preventing him from talking about or competing with Harley-Davidson. So, stay tuned and be sure to check out Buell Boards.

Short Skirts Cause Summer Accidents

written by Alex -- July 28th, 2010

Alex

What’s going on guys? I always knew that we were more likely to get into accidents during the summer months, but was thoroughly surprised at what the number one cause is.

A British car insurance company claims that male drivers have far more accidents in the summer than women do. The alleged reason: dudes are distracted by ladies’ short skirts.

The source of this crap, yes crap, is the Telegraph, who based their report on information obtained from an insurance company called Sheilas’ Wheels.

According to the data, men made 16.4% more claims last summer than in other seasons. And while 25% of men said they’d had an accident or near-accident in the summer over the last five years, only 17% of women said the same.

These stats don’t really seem all that conclusive to me. I mean, how big is this insurance company? Do they have ten clients? Or ten thousand? I just thought I’d share this with you guys. Makes for amusing reading, no? Plus, it gave me the excuse to post up that picture above.

Stay tuned for more updates. But, just to be safe guys, keep your eyes on the road and away from the honeys while riding.

Surf Silverstone WSB Crowd w/ iPhone

written by Paul -- July 27th, 2010

Paul

Hi guys, Paul here with an interesting application for those of you with iPhones. Scheduled to launch this Friday, it allows race fans to connect with each other at home and in the crowd as the superbike action unfolds.

To be released in time for the WSB Silverstone, Crowdsurfer connects Twitter users to share the action on the track, the banter in the crowd and gossip happening between users of the app at the event.

But never fret, even fans not at the event can join in too, getting a flavor of what it’s like to be there.

If you’re a fan of individual riders or teams you can even follow the tweets regarding your favorite racers and manufacturers.

The app will be available to download free from the iTunes store by Friday and will be usable for the remaining rounds of the British Superbike Championship.

The only problem I can foresee is that the massive amount of people using their phones at the same time can cause jams in the network. These kind of delays happen all the time in large crowds. Hopefully there is free Wi-Fi at the track to assist in the jam up.

Stay tuned and happy tweeting!
