Yamaha FZ8 Leaked Photos

written by Irene -- January 31st, 2010

Irene

Hey guys, so Yamaha’s new FZ8 Fazer has been fully revealed in this set of leaked pictures.

The new bike, due to be officially unveiled in the summer as a replacement for the FZ6 Fazer, had until now only been partially revealed with two teaser shots released by Yamaha of just the nose.

But these new pictures, believed to have been leaked to the media from the Yamaha factory in Japan, now show the full bike in all its glory.

It’s immediately clear the new FZ8 is based very closely on the FZ1, its 1000cc big brother.

Like that bike both half-faired (Fazer) and naked (FZ8) versions will be available. The motor is believed to be a sleeved-down version of the FZ1 engine and to produce around 120bhp compared to the FZ1’s 150.

We’ll bring you more details (and pictures) as soon as possible. Stay tuned!

Paul

Hi guys! Paul here again. Today, we planned on finally giving you a video sound clip of our full system exhaust from Remus. I know we tried it before but never got around to finishing it. We wanted to give you a comparison between the sound of them with the baffles on and without. Check out the video to see what happened.

Yeah, sorry about that. We promise we will get to it as soon as the weather lightens up again. We will get the baffles off damn it!

Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to check out Triumph Boards for more information.

Magpul Ronin Tuned Buell 1125R

written by Tony Tone -- January 29th, 2010

What’s up people? If you bought a bargain priced 1125R last year and you’re now wondering what to do with it, the menacing and futuristic Magpul Ronin should provide some inspiration.

The Ronin’s girder front end, angular bodywork and radical radiator/headlight combination have turned geek into gorgeous. Who’d have guessed that making the cooling system even more visible than the standard 1125’s gawky side pods would be an improvement? Plus the heavyweight girder front end match beautifully with the dimensions of the stock Buell frame-rails.

The Magpul website suggests that the Ronin could be more than a one-off show special. The site states ‘Due to the experimental nature of the project, it is not yet known if Ronin motorcycles or Magpul-designed components for the Buell 1125R will be made available for purchase. More information about Project Ronin will be released as the design progresses’.

IPM will still continue to support Buell owners through the forum we sponsor, Buell Boards. Stay tuned!

2010 FZ8 Fazer

Jon

Hey guys, it’s Jon here with some breaking news. Yamaha has revealed this teaser picture of the new-for-2010 FZ8 Fazer, due in the middle of this year to replace the FZ6 Fazer.

The image of the Fazer 8 is the second frustrating teaser picture from Yamaha revealing a piece of the FZ8 range – we also showed you guys an earlier image revealing the FZ8 naked bike.

This new picture is a similar close up, showing only the headlights and the top fairing – which appear almost identical to the FZ6 Fazer.

There’s no more information or pictures available for the moment.

Yamaha is expected to reveal both the FZ8 and the Fazer 8 in May.
Stay tuned for more updates!
