What’s up guys? Most people will never hit 170mph, but at the 2009 World Wheelie Records you were only in contention if you could manage it on one wheel. Adam Child took his standard Yamaha R1 to 135mph on the back wheel. Watch the video for his highlights from the day.
Don’t try this at home kids! Leave it to the professionals!

Hey guys, this is Jon, with my first bike scooter: the 2000 Aprilia SR50. I got it used, battered, and war torn from a economically battered private dealer, but I’m ready to kick it up and pimp this ride out.
First a little background history about this famous scooter: the SR50 model has been present in Aprilia’s lineup for scooters since 1992. The SR50 is known famously for its speed, and infamously for the people who race each other with them. As a result in the US, production of the scooter comes along with a pre-restriction (restriction on the variator, the carburetor, and a bar across the bottom of the engine), only allowing the ride to go 48km/hr (about 30 mph) at the fastest. Check it out!
So, the goal with this scooter is to first get the ride running safely, which is remedied by purchasing a new center stand for the haphazardly twisted center stand it has on at now. Second on my list of priorities, is to de-restrict the bike, as even if I only ride it through the safe streets of Sunset to school, I still don’t want to get honked the hell out of by impatient drivers because I’m only riding 30 mph. Finally, purchasing a windshield would fix the last of the broken things.
Okay, that’s all for now. Tune in next time, and I’ll show you the work I’ve done with my scooter, and the cosmetic tune-ups that I plan to make on it to create a true college girl babe magnet. Right?

What’s up people? Workers at the Moto Guzzi factory are pleading for your support in overturning a decision to close the historic Mandello del Lario factory. Click here to sign the petition!
Workers are hoping that Guzzi’s parent company Piaggio will reverse its decision to complete transfer of production to Piaggio’s other factory – presently 150 staff remain working at the factory, which has been the firm’s home since 1921 and still incorporates the famous in-house wind tunnel facility.

What’s up guys? Just a quick update on the Daytona 675 fairings. Although Dave was finally cool enough to offer to repair the fairings, he somehow convinced me to allow him to attempt to repaint the fairings instead of buying oem ones.
Being the nice fool as I always am, I let him take the fairings in. Anything to help a fellow rider save a buck or two. After all, I was under the impression that he was bringing them into to Bobby Keith’s, the Bay Area standard in motorcycle painting. Turns out, it was Karry’s Autobody Shop. Not only was the paint color completely off, the decal was omitted!??!
