What’s up guys? Check out this video from Honda. I know it’s cheesy, but in the end, you will be rewarded with a sneak peek of the Honda VFR1200 in the form of an exhaust sound clip. Or, you can just fast forward to the end of the video. Enjoy!

Stay tuned for more updates!

2010 MV Agusta Brutale

Hey guys, check out these new spyshots of the 2010 MV Agusta Brutale with a new chassis and styling. The pictures were taken earlier this week at the Almeria circuit and clearly show a new design for the steel trellis frame.

A new headlight is evident as well, though the tank and seat appear unchanged.

Outwardly the engine appears unchanged, and the pictures show two different models being tested – most likely retaining the same 989cc and 1078cc engines fitted to the current range.

MV Agusta has yet to officially comment on the bike – it’s unclear whether the changes will also apply to the F4 superbike range.

Stay tuned!

Robbers Take Over 2 million in 39 seconds!

written by Matt -- August 29th, 2009

Matt

Hey guys, check this out! Dramatic CCTV images of a smash-and-grab robbery of a London jewelry store have been released showing six robbers on three motorcycles taking over two million dollars worth of jewels.

Photobucket

The six thieves rode a KTM Super Duke along with two others: a KTM 690SM and a third unknown bike.

They smashed their way into the Mozafarian jewelers opposite Harrods in Knightsbridge before making off with the jewels including one necklace worth over $500,000.

One of the robbers smashed the glass door with a sledgehammer before the gang entered and broke open cabinets in a raid that lasted just 39 seconds.

The robbers were unable to break their way into one display case containing a more than three million dollars worth of gems.

Scotland Yard is appealing for anyone with any information about the raid! Who would have thought? KTM riders: thieves?

Moto Morini’s 1098 Multistrada Killer

written by Tony Tone -- August 28th, 2009

What’s up people? Check out these spy shots showing Moto Morini’s road-based version of the Granpasso adventure bike, to take on Ducati’s forthcoming 1098-powered Multistrada replacement.

Photobucket

The new motorcycle was spotted track testing in Italy, and is completely bar of a screen assembly (don’t worry though, the mounting holes are visible on the distinctive front fairing).

Photobucket

The chassis is almost identical to the Granpasso adventure bike, but instead of large diameter but narrow on/off road wheels and long travel suspension, the new machine is equipped with thick, high-spec road forks and 17” cast wheels with sportsbike tires.

Photobucket

The increase in grip also means Morini can fit stronger brakes – and they’ve gone for some of the strongest in the business, equipping it with Brembo monobloc four-piston calipers and 320mm discs.

New twin silencers are also fitted in place of the Granpasso’s single can.

Suggestions that the bike is a pure supermoto can be dismissed by the Granpasso stickers on the side fairing – with the presence of mount points for the screen, it’s clear that Morini intends to keep the Granpasso’s comfort and styling alongside the new found performance.

I’m liking the “Zard” dual exhausts!

The world’s fastest Monkey Bike?

written by Alex -- August 27th, 2009

Alex

Hey, what’s up guys? A nine time Dakar competitor is hoping to break a land speed record on this alcohol-powered Honda Monkey bike. Crazy Czech Ivo Kastan will race the 175cc Monkey bike in two classes on the Bonneville Salt Flats in September.

He hopes to smash the Monkey bike land speed record and the naked 175cc four-stroke land speed record in his sights and hopes to see the speedo hit 100mph. It’s crazy, check it out!

His machine has a replica of an early ‘hard-tail’ frame, as he believes rear suspension is irrelevant on a straight-line speed attempt.Drum brakes are retained to allow a gradual speed reduction without the ‘drag’ of disc brakes.Takegawa forks and a steering damper are also present to help stop high speed ‘tank slappers’.

The highly tuned TJR Motorsport engine is based on a 110cc Honda unit and runs an oil cooler which should preserve the engine long enough to complete the required, and hopefully record breaking runs.

Low rolling resistance tyres with Daytona alloy sports wheels, supplied by sponsor CMS, the Dutch Mini Bike parts specialist, complete the picture.
