Hey, how is it going guys? So, we have done a lot of work on the Hypermotard as of late. The tank swap, the mirrors, the carbon pieces. However, if you guys recalled, I changed the stock handlebar to a gold Rizoma one that was a bit shorter.

To remedy that, I got a pair of color matched bar ends from Rizoma to install. Check it out!

As you saw in the video, the bar ends allowed me to place part of my hands farther out, thus improving the control of the bike. Not to mention that it looks awesome. I am sure the weights that I inserted as part of the kit will help while riding too. But, that will have to wait till next to to report while i take it out for some spins!

Ride safely guys.

Triumph is celebrating the Speed Triple’s 15th birthday with a limited edition model.

“There are very few motorcycles that truly break through and shift design for the entire sport. The Speed Triple is one of those motorcycles,” says Jim Callahan, North American marketing manager for Triumph Motorcycles. “The Speed Triple has been refined over the years for even better styling and performance, but the bike has always remained true to the original concept and has always been one of the most recognized streetfighter-style motorcycles. It is one of Triumph’s greatest success stories.”

The 15th Anniversary Speed Triple comes in a “Phantom Black” metallic paint with red pinstriped wheels and special anniversary decals. A gel seat, color-matched flyscreen and bellypan, usually available as options, come standard on the anniversary model.

The fuel tank on the 15th Anniversary Speed Triple also features the signature of entrepreneur John Bloor, who revived the company in the ’80s.

Each limited edition Speed triple comes with a commemorative watch featuring matching red and black detailing. Custom designed with a stainless steel case, crown and pusher buttons, and an integrated leather strap with an engraved buckle.

The Speed Triple, released in 1994, is the most successful Triumph in the modern Hickley era.

        License Plate

As my court date draws ever closer, I have decided to let the sleeping dragon lie, and attempt to at least properly install my license plate.

I had it installed vertically because the holes on the actual plate lined up better to the undertail that way. However, I need to have Johnny Law on my side, so I decided to cut out my hotdog antics, and place the plate horizontally.

As you will see in the video, in order to do this, I had to drill two new holes into the plate. I am unsure as to how legal this is, because I recall something about destroying or tampering with government property being a crime. I guess, I’ll have to wait and see what the judge says when I attempt to charm the points off my ticket!

That’s it for me this week folks. I will be back to my regularly scheduled program in a week or so. Enjoy the weather while it lasts folks!

How’s it going everybody? Today, I got to work on the Street Triple all myself. Solo mio. All alone.. Haha, just kidding.

We got a pair of steel braided brake lines from the good folks over at HelUSA. Initially Hel products were only available in the UK, but they have since brought their quality products over into the States.

Whether it is an off the shelf item or a complete one off installation, HelUSA has the staff, knowledge and historical background to supply you with the best solution to your performance hose needs. They carry performance products for cars, bicycles and nitrous systems in addition to their motorcycle stuff. Let’s check out the installation.

So, obviously, we are going to have to get a proper master cylinder that fits bikes with handlebars before we can complete and test the front lines. Stay tuned and we will get to it really soon! Happy Riding!
