Great weather, tasty food, superbikes, awesome people! What more could we ask for? Maybe more lanes so there wouldn’t be traffic, but hey, four out of five isn’t bad.

Check out the video. It says all!

    …and I just don’t care!

We were with MaxMoto, the official US distributor for Remus exhaust, at the Ace Motorsports Grand Open Party. The Ducati Girls were there too. The Duc Truck provided a dyno, and with the new Remus Hexacone full system exhaust installed, I just had to get the Ducati Hypermotard tested!

Watch the Ducati girl ride the Hypermotard…hard!

      Gearing for the Track

So I made a trip to Cycle Gear today and despite how much I hate going there, because there is usually nothing for chicks, I found something to try on: the Dainese Yu Lady Track Suit. I’ve never tried on a track one piece suit before, and let me tell you, it was super hard to put on and take off. It’s the kind of thing where you need another person to help. It was also very new and stiff so I was doing more of a duck waddle than walking. Being the small girl that I am, I fit the smallest size there, 30. So if your a girl around 5’4″ and 120ish look no further, you’ve found your size.

According to their UK site, the Yu Lady racing suit is the most representative symbol of the Yu mini-Collection dedicated to ladies in San Francisco Chinatown style on the imaginary Dainese journey from Alaska to Terra del Fuego. Whatever that means… But I was surprised to read that the design came from a young Chinese designer’s drawing board. The designer wanted to offer a highly feminine but gutsy style that recalls Charlie’s Angel Lucy Liu and combines refined but firm character with gentle lines that enhance the harmony of the female form.

The Yu Lady suit features a synergy between style and technique: the outstanding quality of the materials used and the elevated technical content of the protective elements are complemented and masterfully enhanced by stylistic elements and curving forms. The Yu mini-Collection is composed of the Yu racing suit, the RS-Yu Lady gloves, the Yu Jet Stream Tourer helmet, the Yu Lady Leather jacket and the eponymous leather pants.

The trip was mainly to check for sizes and to see if I look good in a track suit. Ha. It’s the girly side of me coming out. Perhaps one day I’ll see all you guys out on the track weeping in my dust as I blow past you all. Until then here’s what I look like in track leathers. Enjoy the booty shot.

I know I have been neglecting my Speed Triple for a while but with so many new toys, there just isn’t enough time in a day! Anyways, the last time I checked in, I was installing the Andreani clip ons for a more aggressive ride, but since I had done that with the Street Triple already, I wanted to keep an upright position bike for cruising.

So, Triumph sent over the factory “fat bar” in black, to match with the rest of the bike of course. Check it out!

Just wanted to show you guys how we usually roll to our events. Alex got stuck driving and filming because he was having issues with his Street Triple. The Gilles rearsets were getting stuck and not allowing him to shift past second gear. There was no way he was riding in second gear all the way from San Francisco to Concord.

          Enjoy the video!
