Since crashing his longterm Zx-10r, Jake has been on leave, allegedly healing a broken leg. However, when the bike was ready to be picked up at the mechanics’s, IPM found that Jake had skipped out on his $1,000.00 deductable. Not only that, he had embezzled IPM property, and had not performed any of his IPM duties.

Added a Japanese Rising Sun decal on the rear of the XR. Looks good eh?

Riding a sportbike in the City is not fun. Sure, there is an occasional twisty or a nice straight on the freeway, but mostly you have to deal with idiotic drivers, bumper to bumper traffic, and bicyclists who don’t stay in their designated lanes, and ride all over the street, which in turn slows down the flow of traffic, thereby putting more strain on your wrists (breathe). So this month, I decided to purchase my first ever streetbike.

One thing was for sure as I walked into the local dealership: my new ride would not be a Japanese bike. Why? Well, the Big Four as I like to call them (Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha), rolls out a new design model every two years. Even if I had two financially fantastic years, I wouldn’t be able to pay the bike off, before they produce a sleeker, faster, more powerful rocket.
