So after a few thousand miles with the daily commuter, I decided it was time to give my girl a little nip and tuck.

Soley for cosmetic purposes, I logged on to FEE-Bay, and bought myself a pair of Xenon headlight bulbs.

Installation was a snap. Reached behind the headlights and pulled back the rubber seals, and viola, out came the OEM bulbs and in went the new ones.

Opinion? Well, they sure do make my headlights look cool! A bit brighter at night, but the main reason I like them is the blue hue on the side of each bulb.

To clean up her ugly butt, I got a nice license plate relocator from yes, FEE-Bay again. I also got rid of the rear indicators. Shh, don’t tell Johnny Law.

And finally, the good folks at Lex Racing hooked me up with a nice Devil highmount slip-on in carbon fiber trim.

Took me and the guys around 20 minutes over beers to install.

Now that my baby can breathe, the exhaust lets out a nice deep-toned growl.

After running it for a few miles, I noticed the exhaust opening turning black. Runing a bit rich. Also, it was occasionally back-firing in the higher revs. A power commander and proper mapping should fix that right up.
